At a time when Mr Kabil sibbal is busy formulating new patter for IITJEE..and thinking that he would be able to stop the march of students to coaching insitutes... the masters of coaching industry has definitely outsmarted him.
For 2012-13/14 session FIITJEE has taken its admission test on 9th October, Vidyamandir classes has scheduled test on 16th October, Narayana IIT Academy on 23rd october Aakash Institute has scheduled its test on 27th November and resonance is taking test in Decmber.
Till 2005 amdission used to start in April but then trend startedchanging and process started in december itself. Till last year Normally admission initiative started in December and first round of admission happened in january-February but this year due to direct reasons unknown coaching insitutes will be taking first round of admission in nov-december. Till last year Resonance had taken its first test in April itself but this year they are ready in december itself.Report of Ramaswamy committee is expected very soon and that may have some effect on the minds of students.
As a matter of fact parent and students are highly enthusiastic about these admission process and participating in huge numbers. Parents are definitely anxious to know the fall out of the new pattern but they seem to be relaxed in hands of coaching insitutes. Most worried lot is teachers who are assoicated with the industry.
By the time Mr sibbal will come with new plan, all bright and ignorant would already have taken admission in coaching institutes......
